Complaint Procedure

At GKLAW Solicitors, we are committed to providing a high standard of legal services and maintaining transparency, fairness, and professionalism in all our dealings.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, fees, or communication, we encourage you to let us know so we can address the matter promptly.

1. How to Make a Complaint

You may submit your complaint in any of the following ways:

Please include:
• Your full name
• Your file reference number (if available)
• Details of your concern
• What outcome you are seeking

We encourage you to raise your concerns as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly.

2. Acknowledgement of Your Complaint

We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 7 days.
Your complaint will then be reviewed by the Principal Solicitor or a senior staff member not previously involved in your matter (if applicable).

3. Investigation Process

We will:
1. Review your file and all relevant documentation.
2. Speak with the staff member(s) involved.
3. Contact you if further information or clarification is required.
4. Provide a written response outlining:
• our findings,
• any steps taken to resolve the matter, and
• any proposals for further action or redress.

We aim to provide a full written response within 28 days of acknowledging your complaint. If additional time is needed, we will inform you.

4. If You Are Not Satisfied

If you are unhappy with our final response, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the:

Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA)

The LSRA handles complaints relating to:
• inadequate legal services,
• excessive costs, or
• misconduct.

You may contact the LSRA directly through its website or by post.

5. Continuous Improvement

We take all complaints seriously and use them as an opportunity to improve our services, systems, and client experience.
